I have recently been diagnosed with Spina Bifida. I received some helpful information from the following Mayo Clinic website:

I have spina bifida which was diagnosed at birth. You can ask me any questions you have about it.

Yes, I have Spina Bifida, diagnosed at birth. I'm now 43. Mine is called "Myelomeningocele." I just asked the Healthboards team to consider making a special message board for us. I hope they accept! Please also let them know if you'd like a special message board for this (as the saying goes, "The squeaky wheel gets the oil!"

No, don't have MS symptoms. I have an atrophied right leg, so I limp a bit. I also have hip pain and can't walk for very long without having to sit down.
