Has anyone ever heard if certain medications can cause a narrowing of the stools? I take high blood pressure medication and Lexapro (antidepressant) and have an extremely dry mouth in the mornings. Also, stools have become narrower but not hard. I am going to see a doctor this week but I know I will have to have a colonoscopy (I am 55). The narrow stools have me worried--no pain, some bloating and gas, weight is the same, enery is ok. Thanks

I think you just need more water soluble fiber in your diet. Metamucil is a good supplement if you don't want to change what you're eating???
