Quick question...I can't go on birth control because of the medication I'm using. And I've been using condoms for years now, but which condoms have spermacide on them? My b/f and I use durex. I'm just curious, cause I'm trying to prevent BV infections and I've heard spermacide can irritate the vagina

The condoms will say if they contain spermicide right on the package.

Yes, you just have to look carefully. It will either say "spermicidal lubricant" and tell you in the fine print which type of spermicide or just say "lubricated" and not mention spermicide anywhere. Be extra careful because sometimes, the color of the box is the same (Example: Trojan makes a variety in a grey box that contain spermicide and also a line in a grey box that doesn't.) You are right to avoid it, if you're prone to infections. Also, using something like Astroglide will help cut down on irritation.
