One week ago, my wife started to develop sore throat and dry cough. Two days later, she also felt her nose got stuffy and serious headache, her ear also got itchy. Several days ago she started fever and felt pain all over her body. Right now she feels weak, has back pain and her face aches if being touched. Her teeth also aches. This actually coincides with her period. Does it sound normal flu she just need to "wait through"?

Hi snowmountain :)
It sounds like a serious case of the flu, you said her face is sore to touch & that her teeth also hurt..it might be because her sinus cavity is blocked with mucus this would explain the earaches & itching as well as face pain and as mucus tends to run down the back of the throat this would explain her sore throat. As with any type of flu the body aches, but if its only her lower back she might have a kidney infection as well.If she has a temperture then she needs to rest with warm fluids and paracetamol this helps with pain & temperture.
If you have not been to a doctor now would be the time as the flu is a viral illness and can be a tricky thing if it gets to the lungs.
The flu has known to be fatal, so please get her to a doctor he will advise you better.
My best wishes & i hope she feels better soon

I agree with blue2angels and what she is saying. You should really take your wife to the doctor and get her checked out. I'm going threw the flu right now myself, so I kind of know what she's going threw. I hope she feels better soon!
