Hi,
I was wondering if any one can answer a question for me? My doctor wanted me to try Metamucil for my bouts with diarrhea. I have been taking it for a week now and have noticed my stools are yellow and float. Is this normal? Thanks-

dont know but roughage also should help
roughage isnt always the same as fiber

Metamucil is used for both contipation and diarhea. Metamucil is bulk forming so it helps with the diarhea. What you are seeing is normal. Janetto

Hi there. Yellow stools + diarrhea could be a sign of gall bladder trouble. Keep an eye on the color and if diarrhea returns, you might want to discuss this with your doctor. If your stools remain solid and yellow, it may be no big deal.
