I have frequent loose bowel movements usually first thing in the morning two or three times. This seems to be irrespective of what I have eaten. I also have almost constant light headed spacey feeling. This light headedness is constant and not episodic and last throughout the day. I have had full tests including detailed neuro examinations but have had no diagnosis. Can anyone help with this probelm. Many thanks. Andrew

Hi,

I also have lose bowel movements first thing in the morning. In the first half hour of the day, I can go up to 4 times. I am also constantly dizzy and I feel like I am about to pass out all day. This has been going on for 5 weeks for me. The doctors suspect a labyrinthitis, an inner ear infection caused by some virus. Do you feel fluid and pressure in your head + ears? It's the first time I come across someone who has constant dizziness and lose bowel movements in the morning like I do. May be we are normal after all. I ran a lot of tests and have a CT scan this week to rule out any serious causes. Let me know if you find answers to your problems.

Thanks for your reply. Mine is light headedness rather than dizziness as I have no spinning sensation. I have had vestibular tests to rule out any balance or inner ear problems. I have been troubled by this constant spaciness for two tears to date !! Ideas welcome Andrew

Hi,

I don't know if you've looked at this yet but another thing to look at is TMJD (Temporo Mandibular Joint Disorder). Dizziness is one of the symptoms. I know you say you have lightheadedness but from what I hear they can be the same. I do feel like I am spinning or moving sometimes but most of the time I just feel spacey, like I'm very light and disconnected from the environment. Anyway, you can look at the symptoms of TMJD on this web site: http://ia.essortment.com/temporomandibula_rwcc.htm

Let me know.

I had similar symptoms and found out I had Celiacs disease. The gluten in diet attacks small intestines. I became anemic and dizzy. You might want to ask MD to check for celiacs.
