I have read dark brown is the normal color for bowel movements and have also read that tan is also ok. What is the color supposed to be. Mine are always tan or light colored. I have had a colonoscopy back in March and my liver enzymes were normal in May so I guess color can vary from person to person.

Stool color can vary depending on what you eat and other factors. So long as your doc is aware of you light colored stools and has found nothing wrong then you should be fine.
