I've been on and off the pill for about 4 and 1/2 years now to regulate my periods. I was wondering if there is another option besides birth control to regulate my periods because I heard from someone that was on birth control for a long time that it gave her a lot of health problems. Thanks for any imput.

It really depends on what the problem is. But there is almost always an alternative to the pill. You might look into NaPRO technology. From what I understand they are doing a ton of research on how to fix menstrual problems at their root.
If you have PCOS, metformin can help. If its your thyroid, thyroid meds should help. etc.
