I am new to the board & hope this question hasn't been asked before & I missed it, but has anyoone ever tried any of the healing products offer on line with a money back guarentee. I'm having a lot of bleeding & my Dr. has suggested a surgeon, which I am against the surgery for 2 reasons 1.it doesn't always work & it's so painful & 2.I have already had a surgery this Feb. on my foot & can not take off another 6 weeks. I know there some healing oil etc. & was hoping someone has tried them with success., as Iam a fan of vitamins & herbs anyway. Thank you all ahead of time. Sue

You didn't mention what type of surgery but I would assume you mean a hemorrhoidectomy. If the hemorrhoids are that severe that the doc is recommending surgery then that is about the only thing that will permanently take care of them. The other products are generally to control flare ups of inflammed hemorrhoids but won't do much for bleeding hemorrhoids.

I'm sure that's the surgery he is talking about,but he's leaving it up to the surgeon. I will say this is the 1st time they have really bled very much, & I'm really against the surgery this year. If it's just a flare up & can live with it for awhile, I'm just having problems getting them to stop bleeding & have not tried the health food store yet, don't know if anyone else believes in vitamins & herbs but it sure beats surgery if I can avoid it.

Your best bet is to try a cold compress and/or sitz baths and some medicated suppositories that your doc can prescribe for you. I am all for natural treatments but I don't think there are any natural treatments that will stop bleeding. You need to call your doc back and ask him how urgent he thinks this is for you to have the surgery and discuss your non surgical options. Apparently you forgot to discuss all of this when you were in his office the last time so call and get this straightened out and then go from there.
