View Full Version : Thinning hair, can anything be done?

I started losing it at around age 14-15, right now I am 20, you can notice that the front is very thin if you look hair or if I am under a bright light. I still have hair on the front of the scalp though, it's just thinner than the sides. It's from heredity, I know that already, but can I do anything to get thick hair on the front of my scalp right now?

Is it possible with surgery? Do they take hair from the back of my hair or sides and use that on the front or what? I wish they would be able to use my body hair, I have so much ;)

I know hair transplants exist but I think that those are for people who lost all the hair in an area already. This is not my case, I didn't lose it completely in one area, the whole top is just getting thinner, but I want to get it thick now instead of when it's all gone.
