View Full Version : Quick question about a previous post

I posted earlier about changing my pill pack start date and I had a new question. I was annoyed that I was constantly getting my period on a weekend (only time I get to see my boyfriend!) and so as instructed by my doctor, I ended my hormone pills three days early and started the placebo pills on that exact day. Right on schedule, my period came three days early (yesterday). My question is...I will now start my new pill pack on a Thursday (instead of my normal Sunday) and I want to make sure that I am still protected. I told my boyfriend about it all and he is so paranoid he doesn't want to have sex. I know the pill protects in a number of different ways...and I am calling my doctor as well, but I guess I just wanted a little piece of mind from all of you! My vote is, I'm still protected...but hey, what do I know?!
Thanks for all your advice!

OfCourse you are protected. You didnt skip any days! You just started early.. Some women will keep taking packs for 3 mths straight to skip their periods. You are fine.. Tell you boyfriend not to be a worry wart and you enjoy what you did for him!
