I've been on the birth control pill Kariva for a year and always have had a regualr period. I haven't missed a pill in over three months. a couple weeks ago I had breakthrough bleeding a week before I was supposed to start my period for 7 days. Then the week I was supposed to start my period I completely missed it. I took a HPT and it turned out negative. I don't know if I should completely trust that test tho. Has anyone else had this happen and not been pregnant? Please reply soon, I'm really worried.

I talked to a nurse at my doctors office about breakthrough bleeding and she said that because of the early breakthrough bleeding I might in fact not have a period at all this month, but to take a pregnancy test just in case. So, that might be why you have no period. I wouldn't worry unless your having early signs of being pregnant. It also couldn't hurt to take another HPT in a few days just to be safe. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Okay, now I am really freaking out. Just yesturday I started vomiting for no reason in addition to all the other stuff that has happened. All I had to eat that day was cereal and rice. It started at 1 then ended at 3 and then I was fine the rest of the day. Can morning sickness be in the afternoon? And can a pregancy test turn out negative if you don't take it in the morning? Help, I'm scared.

Morning sickness can last throughout the whole day. When my best friend was pregnant she was naseuas all day and night long. You could just take another pregnancy test. Take care!

It's possible or you could just be having breakthrough bleeding. As far as your missed period, I would go to a doctor and get a blood test. Good luck!

I decided to take another pregnacy test and it showed up neg. But I don't know if I should always trust those. I would go to the doctor and get a blood test but I would have to pay a $150 deductable. So now I guess all I can do is wait to see if I start my period in a couple weeks.
