My son is 3. He has always tended to poo alot, but in the past 6 months it seems to be increasing alot. I have tried limiting foods/drinks that I know gives him the runs, but it's still getting more and more frequent. I did mention this at his last check up but the doc wasn't concerned because his weight was just fine. But I'm getting concerned!! He refuses to go #2 in the potty, and never has done it. For the last few days hes been having 3-6 watery poos a day in his pull-ups and getting terrible diaper rash because he has very sensitive skin. He also has regressed in pottytraining all together, and I'm sure it has to do w/ this. Has anyone else experienced this type of thing w/ their little ones? How was it treated? Could it be some type of bowel problem? I'm going to set up a Dr. visit for him... but until then does anyone have any info or advice? Thanks.

When you indicate they were frequent, were they normal? I would ask for a referral for a pediatric gastroenterologist.
