My story is long and confusing. I have had female problems foever it seems like. For about the past year, I spot constantly and have severe abdominal pain at all times of the months. About a week ago, I had a pap smear, in which I severly started bleeding during it. Does anyone know what can cause a huge amount of blood during and after? Also, my GYN knows that I am sexually active, and I have wondered for a long time if my problems could be linked to an STD, When you have a pelvic exam/pap smear, does the GYN test and look for STDs if they know you are sexually active? Thanks!
