I know I posted on here once before about these bizarre changes in my vaginal discharge, but it metamorphosed again alst night and for only last night.
Here's how my mucus cycle has gone thus far:
- white; moderate consistency
- clear; moderate consistency
- slightly yellow; thick consistency; sticky
- white and clear alternating; watery consistency
- back to slightly yellow and thick
- tan; extremely thick consistency, to the point where it discharges in chunks; very sticky
- back to off-white/yellow; thick consistency; a little bit sticky
.............
Probably an infection...but I just wonder if this is normal to have such a temperamental reproductive system.
Any of you ladies ever experience this??

Sounds like an infection. Anytime discharge is of color it could be a problem such as BV. I remember your posts from before, sorry you are still experiencing the discharge. You should really see a doctor, only she or he can tell you what is going on and help you get this all cleared up.

Oh it is smelly...even more than before when I knew I had an infection. I know I really shouldn't do this, but I wash down there very thoroughly every night with soap and water because it's the only way to eliminate the odor, but it returns rapidly.
I guess I can cross my fingers and hope it goes away like my last infection did. Thanks for you help guys!

id go to doctors as it will get worse, you need antibiotics. i get someyhing sometimes which smells but think its urine, my pelvic floor is weak from having my son last eyar, apart from that i smell normal, go yo doctors, washing will make worse, it destroys natural bacteria, aprilx

You really need to see a doctor, its not going to go away on its own. Take Care

This sounds like normal discharge to me. After your period your cevical mucus tends to be dry or sticky, then creamy. As you get closer to ovulation cm (cervical mucus) becomes watery and sometimes can look like e***hite. After Ovulation your cm dries up again or becomes sticky. If you have any itching or unusual odor this can be an indication of an infection and I would see a dr. Hope this clears things up a bit.

I have the gross discharge too....it is no fun-and it is embarassing. i have to change my underwear often in a day. My discharge consistency is thick, creamy and white. Yuck. I have been treated for BV several times by the doctor but nothing works--it keeps coming back over and over again. Thanks for any suggestions!! ")

INfections will NOT go away. They may not be as noticable but they don't just go away on their own. Left untreated some can cause Pelvic Inflammatory Disease which can land you in the hospital and can cause fertility problems or even permanent infertility. You need to see the doc and get this taken care of ASAP before it turns into something more serious. Also as already mentioned you shouldn't need to be washing in the actual vaginal area. Call the doc today and get seen for this before you wind up with a serious infection or worse yet sepsis.

As mentioned , it comes back---the doctors have helped me with creams, pills, and other such treatments. I DO NOT have a yeast INFECTION- i do have bacterial vaginitis. I am saying that traditional doctors do not help me--they say some people just are more susceptible to getting them and may never truly get rid of them.
