I have dull, right sided abdominal pain - about 2 inches to the right of and above navel - in other words - about two inches in both directions - beside and above navel. No other symptoms at all!!! It is dull, sometimes a little burny, but that is it. Any ideas? I eat most of my food from afternoon until evening, and it seems to lessen after dinner, but starts up again in the middle of the night. No vomiting, no nauseausness, nothing else. I am just aware of it all the time - about four weeks in duration.

Very vague symptoms but I am not suggesting that it's something to not take seriously. I would start by seeing my primary care physician. The physician may do some blood work or run some other tests to see if any other "abnormalities" show. Other than that, I could only speculate on what you may have which could range from gas to a tumor. And there are a WHOLE lot of in betweens such as IBS, GB, liver, diet, ... Like I said, the symptoms are vague so I recommend getting other tests. Good luck!
