Like a lot of people on this board I am pretty convinced I have HIV, because
#1 I had a very questionable exposure and # 2 there is nothing else that could explain the illness that I've had for the last four months. The woman I was with told me she was HIV negative. I used a condom but it broke. She was also on steroids for an "eye condition", had recently left a prestigous job in Los Angeles to live in a small town in the east. And she was living a somewhat promiscuous lifestyle, although she had a monogomous partner, live-in boyfriend who she said "had been with a lot of people, but always used protection". Sounds like a pretty F**** up story huh? I've tried to contact this woman online (where I met her), but no luck. So I guess I will have to go to her home and speak to her. But am waiting for this latest test to come back. If I am positive I don't see myself getting treatment, I just don't think I could. My symptoms are flu-like, dry skin, very chapped lips, and I was told my platelet count was low.

Hi Jerry! Sorry to hear about your case!! My case is somewhat like your case, I have a questionable exposure and have some symptoms like yours. You can read my post "PLS help!!" Since it has been 4 months already you should go and take a blood test to see if u r really infected! Never know, you might not be infected at all. So, pray and don't worry! God will bless u!
