Why do you want to only use natural oils for your hair? do you have something against prepared hair care products? q cheerful64 12-07-2004, 09:39 AM well, of course i don't have anything against prepared products! i have used all kinds of stuff....my favorite brand is redken. i just wondered if using straight oil would be good for once a week. you always hear about people using home treatments (oils, eggs, mayo...etc), and i just wondered if any of them work. but no, i think i'd be missing out if i only wanted to use natural stuff bc i know there are some great products out there. just wanting some other alternatives.... quincy 12-07-2004, 01:44 PM Redken is a great line....although not as good as it used to be (personal grudge because the original line was AWESOME!! and I used it since the mid 70's). Have you checked out the Extreme line....there is a product called Deep Fuel that repairs and strengthens. The Extreme shampoo and conditioner have been changed as well and seem to be successful. If you're wanting to check out natural hair conditioners, there would be many combos on a search. q Shy One 12-07-2004, 07:34 PM Jojoba oil is supposed to be the oil that most resembles the oil from your scalp. A lot of people love this stuff. I haven't tried it yet but i'm planning on buying a bottle. Just spread a little bit throughout your hair and leave it in. cheerful64 12-10-2004, 02:20 AM where can i find jojoba oil? thanks for the rec!
