My baby is 2mths old. For the past few days he is been taking almost an hr to finish his bottle(4oz). Do you think i need to change the flow of his nipple? Right now he is on the slow flow for newborns.
Your replies will be really helpful.
Thanks

I changed my son's at 2 months...same problem 45 min to eat a bottle. Stage 2 nipple...5 minutes tops!! He did spit up more for the first week or two as his belly got used to taking in more food quickly. It also helped him sleep better during the day!! Good luck!

Thanks Kiera1595.
I am using the gerber NUK nipples. The slow flow says 0-6mths. I think i will get the medium flow and see how he takes it. Which nipples you used?

The normal/slow flow nipples for infants were nothing but trouble. At about 2 months, I used the medium flow silicone gerber NUK nipples at about 2 months. I had problems with the rubber ones, they seemed too slow.

i have been using gerber medium since daughter was 1 and half months, she is my first child and i didn't know anything about nipple sizes and started her on fast flow playtex, what a disaster!! she was throwing up and i had no idea why and she had the worst colic, thank God someone pointing this problem out to me!!
