Hello all!

I had a low risk encounter with a woman 2 months ago and about 4 days after I received oral sex I started having a numbness in my feet which I still have to this day. Is peripheral neuropathy an early sign of HIV or an STD?

I dont show any other symptoms like other people mention like rashes or the flu. Is it really true that nobody has ever caught HIvfrom Oral Sex?

Also is Tinnitus "buzzing in ears" related to PN or Hiv. I also have a wierd buzzing that wont go away. I just hope these two symptoms are not related.

Thanks!

Dan

I can't help you with your symptoms, but I'm in the same boat. I had a low risk encounter with a male about two months ago. I recieved oral sex. After talking to the CDC, they say they had no reported cases where a person contracted HIV from oral sex. They told me my chances were next to nil. I tested at one month and was negative. Because of my own pesonal paranoia I will probably test again at the three month mark (trust me, I've had every "symptom" under the sun). Don't worry though; it only makes it worse. :nono:

Good luck and I wish you the best.
