I'm new here, and I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere. I've seen sites [removed] which seem comprehensive, but too complex for me. Is there a way to track my wellness easily and addictively?

I'm not sure about how to get addicted to keep track. I do know you can get addicted to keeping a healthy lifestyle when you start seeing results and feeling better. I find that the Internet or computerized diaries sound good and work at first, but I find I don't like turning on the computer every time I want to log in what I ate. I prefer the notebook method. Just get a simple daily planner and organize it so that you write the meals, exercise, and results in the same order. You can even make a column for the cal. and/or fat and carbs. If your counting those too. I just count total fat and cal. I lay off the food diary evey now and then and start it up as needed. It is good motivation and discipline though. No one wants to write down that they've ate a candy bar, so chance are you won't eat it if you have to write it down. It gets even more fun if you have someone to compete with.

You can keep track of your diet by using a handwritten or electronic food diary/journal. Keeping track of exercise is just as simple as setting up a routine and trying to exercising the same time each day. (Ex: I exercise for 1 hour from (9:00PM-10:00PM every night...Sun., Tues., and Thurs. are weights and kickboxing....Mon.and Weds are aerobics....Fri. and Sat. are stationary bike nights.) I use a variety of video tapes to keep my exercise varied.
