I have ulcerative colitis and i havent had an flareup (symptom free) for just about 2 years. the one before in 2001 had me in the hospital. Then today all of a sudden a drop of blood on the tissue when i wiped and a little smear when i wiped again. Is there any chance that this will go away without me taking any more mediations or going to the hospital. thanks for the help.

This is possibly the start of another flare-up. Get to the GP a.s.a.p. and see if you can start stronger meds to try and avoid another hospital stay. I do understand, I went through the same thing on and off for 3 years. Good luck.
