What can this be, any ideas? I have always felt like I had good vision
The past few week,s after only about 3-5 minutes of looking at the computer, I get the worst headache (almost to a migrane) and I have to get off the computer-It then takes another 10-15 minutes for my headache to go away! It is very annoying, but is this common, or do I need to see a doctor TIA! Jenn

I used to get that. It took me longer, like 30 mins use though. I bought one of those filters that u fit over the screen. To the glare away and its helped me no end. I would go get your eyes tested too though just to be sure.

Somtimes the Refresh Rate of a monitor is set to low and causes severe eye strain, I use to have that problem. I would suggest setting your refresh rate to at least 72Hz-75Hz, some better monitors can handle 85Hz which is so much softer on the eyes.
Here is a link on how to change you Refresh rate in windows xp:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q311403
If you don't have windows XP search on google.com for "How to change Refresh Rate on WIndows XX" xx being your OS like 98, Me, or 2000.
Hope THis Helps :)

I've had 4 migraines this past year and 3 of them happened while on the computer. I've had my eyes checked and they are fine. Doc recommended I limit my online time, darken my screen, and glasses. But I admit, I'm concerned to go on the pc now.
