Is anyone taking this knock out sleeping potion? I dont but a buddy of mine is and he said its great.Of course this guy is a walking pharmasutical anyhow.

Remeron is an anti-depressant. I don't think it is used solely for insomnia. Of course, insomnia could be caused by depression!

My friend has been taking it for years, only prescription though... for depression mainly, but also also anxiety and sleeping. He's at 60mg but wants to stop because he hates pills. Anyway, it gets rave reviews for sleeping, but it IS for depression, it basically helps raise serotonin levels...
The few nights when he's run out, he doesn't sleep. It sucks.
I'm worried he won't be able to get to sleep without it... even after careful weening off...
But yeah, it's primarily depression. It seems some people love it, and others can't use it, I've read where people hate it because it exhausts them, particularly one, who slept for two days straight supposedly... My friend will have problems despite it, though, and he's at a pretty high dosage, and he weighs like, 140lbs, but he has been on it for years, so.. yeah.. But apparently for many it is good for sleeping, but there's other ways first...
