Hey,
I had a risky encounter like 9 months ago with a girl who i had no idea who she was. We had protected sex, yet she bled a lot unknown to me until we had finished. Also, I had scabed over cuts on my fingers from a prior injury. Anyways i thought nothing of it until like 2 days later, and then the mind started going crazy, I thought I had every STD imaginable, i couldn't eat, go to bed, I woke up like 5 o'clock wide awake, my bowels movements were few and far between. It was crazy...I then about 1 month later I thought maybe i should go get tested for all these STD's, i did and they all were negative...whew....but they said i would have to wait for an HIV test...I was like WHAT. SO i only could wait like another month, so i went to a different clinic got it done, and negative HIV. Now here I sit 7 months later after that test and still wonder if the test was even worth it, or was it just a false hope for me and i should go get tested again, just to be sure. IN those two months between the encounter and the HIV test, I went through a lot of stress and my body was in shambuls...I guess i just wonder if you have some symptoms wouldn't you also seroconvert pretty soon after all those symptoms? I guess a negative at any time is a good thing though.
