Ok, I went to get tested for some STD's and he had to do a swab. First, it is the worst pain ever. Now, its the end of the day and I still feel some of the pain as if he is still swabbing me. lol It's not as bad as during the day, its gotten better. But is it still supposed to be sore for a while?

My fiance had the STD test like that done a couple of years ago and I laughed so hard when he described the pain. I know it wasn't nice, but to see the utter pain on his face while he was describing it made me fall on the floor laughing. He did happen to tell me though that he was sore for a good 2 days. When he pee'd there was blood in his urine and it stung and burned, so don't freak out if that happens. However if it keeps hurting about after a week maybe you should go back to the Dr. to get a heads up. He said it's fairly normal. All my guy friends agree that even though they'll never feel labor, that has got to be the worst pain they've ever felt in their lives. I'm sorry! Hope you feel better!

A swab for my penis ( urethra). I swear I never screamed so loud at the doctors office.

How long is it normal for it to hurt for? Because mine hurts on and off all day. It hurts less today than yesterday.

He hurt for a good 2 or 3 days. Really hurt him when he would urinate also. I'm pretty sure he knows the exact feeling your feelings right now. However, if your having the same intense feeling in a couple of days...say a week after the test go back to your Dr. and let him know that somethings not right. But yeah it's gonna be sore for a couple of days. The pain will subside.

Well i'm sure the pain will eventually subside. You'd think he was going into labor everytime he went to the bathroom. I've been laughing the whole weekend and asking him to retell me the story over and over again because it's so funny to see the pain in his eyes still to this day. Anyway, hope you feel better soon.
