Head cold on the 18th day, thrush on the 21st day, I tested on the 25th day. urethra culture and a throat culture. Negative on everthing except my slide smear had a couple white blood cells. No treatment necessary. Didn't even emphasize coming back in 90 days, well now I have symptoms of IBS and I have lost 10 pounds. Abdominal pains, achy joints, off colored stool, Praying all the time, please help. Any suggestions on if this is how ARS works and what about antibodies after eleven days of symptoms. Does ARS last this long four weeks so far.

Hi!! First of all, is it that u are worrying too much that your body responded in a certain way? Maybe, you need to sit down and just relax. Many times, we tend to think thing which we are not, and due to the fact that we think we are, we then become what we think. The mind is fooling you. We need to take control of our life, and not let this idea ruled us!
Secondly, by drinking bottle that are partially covered with vagina fluids shouldn't get you infected with HIV, unless there were cuts and sores in your mouth.
Are you sure, you have thrust? Or is it just a white coating? Many times, we get the white covering/coating on the tongue is due to the fact of lowered immune system. (Cause by drinking, smoking, etc)!
You got sick a few weeks after that, was it due to the fact that your roommate was sick? I think you might have caught the bugs from your roommate!

Just a couple thoughts on your questions. The white cottage cheese on the back of your throught could just be a virus. I get these all the time. Some people get them even if they have food stuck back there. Your right people that are HIV get thrush in the later stages of AIDS. The white coating on your tongue could just be from a dry mouth. Drink lots of water and see if it goes away. My tongue appears to have a white coating on it but most tongues look that way.

The achy joints and stomach ache could just be a simple flu or flu like virus. I know what your going through as I have been through the same thing. I worried myself sick thinking I was HIV infected. I was having severe panic attacls, lost almost 15 pounds and had almost every symptom of HIV!! HIV is NOT diagnosed by symptoms!! GET TESTED!!! This is the only way to relieve your mind. About your tongue. Look up coated tongue and I bet that will explain a lot. The majority of people alive have the white coating on the back of their tongue, it's where bacteria, food and the such gather. And it is true that thrush develops in the later stages of AIDS, when you have a very low white blood cell count. Just for your state of mind though, please get a test and let us know how it goes.

Thank you all for your support and answers. I did do a test on the 25th day but I got a rapid tests and I heard they are not as good as the 4th generation elisa test.
