I have just recently started taking wellbutrin 150mg with my lexapro 20 and the side effects are horrible, I feel tired all the time and i cant sleep at night. I feel dizzy all day and yawn all the time. When it was just the lexapro it was working but not well enough so they uped it and put me on wellbutrin but i feel like it may be to much. Does anyone have any opions on this :jester:

Tell your doc if you think you are taking too much. You may be like a lot of people...and I am one of them, my body is not use to all kinds of meds. Right now I only take celexa and even that seems like a big change to my body. Is the Wellbutrin for sleep or something? Let me know how it goes for you k?

hey there! i was on this little cocktail for awhile. i wanted to quit smoking, and the side effects from the lexapro were annoying (mainly i felt like i could konk out at any moment at work..and the yawning was incessant). dr. upped the lexapro to 20 and added the wellbutrin. i was taking two pills a day at 150mg a piece.

i think this worked well for me....even though i wound up quiting the meds alltogether...and its been about 6 months since ive been on them. i need to get back into it. my anxiety has been bad...getting stomach problems again. anyway...what i found was the biggest change on the wellbutrin/lexapro combo was that i lost weight. about 2 lbs a month...totalling almost 10 pounds..which for me (im only 119 to begin with) was HUGE. i didn't eat as much...always had a bit of light naseau. felt like an appetite suppresant.
