i have these patches on my scalp that are like very thin scabs. it's not thick and very noticable, but these spots end up peeling off and they feel kindof crusty...sorry so gross! anyway, what can i use otc that works to clear this up? what is the strongest shampoo and how do i use it? i am desperate bc i am tired of having dandruff/seborric derm! i think it's a combo bc i have flakes but also those other patches. what can i do? i have used some shampoos but this condition always comes back! :p

Itchy scalp
Aggravation of Pitta dosha, stress, allergic reaction to shampoo, air conditioning, pollution and central heating lead to an itchy and red scalp, with tiny pimples or sores, dull and dry hair.
Remedies
Add 1 teaspoon of camphor to half a cup of coconut oil and store it in gl container.
Dosage: Mage this oil into the scalp before bed.

I have seb. dermatitis and my scalp sheds like a snakes and itches like crazy. Now I use nioxin shampoo and every once in a while I shampoo with nizoral and this keeps it under control.
