I have had 5 concussions in my life that I am aware of.My first was when I was 16 and the last one was about 8 years ago.My last 2 and worst was a full blast head conking on the boards during a Hockey game which sent me into a 30 second tounge swallowing seizure (yikes).I now have monthly ontime headaches out of the blue which last for 1-3 days.I haven't had a skull x ray lately but am bothered by this constant right side of head ache when it happens.I my have had other instances where I may have had mild concussions from slight bumps and simple headjerks. Is this normal for someone with a history of concussion?

Ive had about that many including one bad one which lead to one year of headaches. Ive also had a minor one too from a slight hit in a college football game. Ive had headaches and unexplained problems for years, but noone realy thinks it has to do with the concusions-they say you usually recover from head injuries. Just think (they say Jaworski former QB) had like twenty some confirmed, so I think he has us beat.

have you ever seen a neurologist for your current situation,i mean recently? If not you really need to so you can have your neuro status reevaluated and also get an MRI done to check for any abnormalities inside the brain.Given your Hx of head injury, this really needs to be done as soon as possible.you never know how much lasting and permanent damage may have been done to your brain.Good luck and keep us posted.Marcia
