I have long blond hair, down to my waist...
A few months ago I thought hair cutting was easy, and tried to layer it myself. Disaster. I ended up with lame, straight-cut looking layers.
It's growing out now and it doesn't look as bad, but it's harder to hide now with an updo.
I'm thinking layering will look great to frame my face, but I don't know what kind I want...
I'm probably going to cut 3 or 4 inches off to make it a little more managable, and less time consuming to blowdry.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Or a 'can't go wrong' layered do? please help!

I've always been happy with what my stylist suggests, although it's a higher end place, even at a place like Supercuts, your haircutter is more than happy to suggest styles that would best suit you! I also have long, thin, blonde hair, it's layered throughout, angled up in front (but not TOO drastic) with a long swoopy bangs that I keep to one side, I love it!!

that sounds really pretty, I'll take your advice and ask my stylist.
