I'm a 23 year old female suffering from chronic vertigo for the past 7 months. I was diagnosed with labrynthitis (didn't clear up on it's own) and later BPV (didn't clear up with exercises). I had an MRI and everything came out normal. I'm currently on a waiting list to see an EN&T but the neurologist who referred me implied that there's not much they can do other than physical therapy to retrain the brain (it hasn't worked).

So I turned to alternative medicines. I've been seeing an acupuncturist for the past month. Regular treatments have lessened but not eliminated the symptoms. I've heard a lot about the use of chiropractic care for vertigo (caused by the upper cervical vertebrae pinching the brain stem), and I'm thinking of going for a consultation. I'd love to hear from anyone who's had experience with upper cervical chiropractic care - I'm nervous about the possibility of it doing more damage!
