Wow! I posted a rather confusing question about a sleep/wake issue I have had, and the first person who responded gave me a name for the condition that he has, which is similar. A quick search with that keyword led me to a site that explained EXACTLY the type of symptoms I was having, gave it a name, and even better re-assured me that most people experience this at some time, it is normal and not dangerous, and is almost never treated unless other conditions exist with it.
