I have dreams of being raped pretty often. Sometimes family members are involved. This has happened all my life. I don't remember being sexually abused, but I have suspicions. Do people normally dream of rape when they haven't been raped? Is my mind trying to tell me something? It's kind of scary.

They sound like you're feeling violated, whether or not it's sexual or even physical. It could be emotional violation. I have bottled-up anger towards my family that comes out in dreams sometimes, very violently. Like a family member shooting at me, and the other one standing by and watching. That never happened in real life, but obviously I felt attacked in some way.
