I hope none of you take this to offense. I mean no harm through anything...

For my Science class we are debating over this scenario: whether a non-FDA approved cure for AIDS should be release to patients that are HIV+. I was wondering if anyone who is HIV+ would like to share if they would take the chance on a non-FDA approved cure for this disease even though the symptoms and effects from the medicine could be dangerous. The FDA in this scenario is basically saying that they want to test the drug for another 6 years before releasing it to HIV+ patients. My group was chosen to be on the Pro side that agrees to release the hopeful-cure now, and I just wanted to create a sort of survey that may prove what we're saying, or if not at least I'll know to prepare my grou pfor that.
