My friend has had pins and needles sensations in her hand for about 2 weeks, and while sleeping, awoke with a sensation of her other arm being squeezed with a rubber band around one area. She just had an MRI and they said they found white matter that should not be there, and told her nothing else. She sees a neuro. the end of this month. i would like to know what this could be. I just want opinions and would not relate these to her, I do know she was checked for MS, but has been told nothing yet. Does anybody know what white matter is, they said it should not be there, that is all. Thankyou
