Hiya Crazy Labyrinth!

I am still around.....I pop in every week or so and have a look at what's new in the forum but don't have too much to ad these days!!

Am still dizzy, still very much up and down.........I still fight BPPV regularly. Those damn crystals just won't stay where they are put!!

I am doing visual therapy still to try and repair the damage labyrinthitus and BPPV have done to my visual system. I have been doing this for months and months. The opthamologist thinks my visual system is definately improving....and on some days I would definately agree.

I can now usually shop for a couple of hours without too much problem but any more than that and I go downhill rapidly. I am working a couple of days a week now which some days is easy and other days is excruciatingly hard!!

Basically I am on a constant rollercoaster ride!! Up, down, up, down, up, down.......makes it hard to be reliable!!

How are you doing??? Any improvements??

Hi Marjs.......have you heard of BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). This is what I mean by crystals. It occurs in your semi-circular canals which is in your inner ear. Ears cracking when moving your jaw sounds like a middle ear problem to me. I have that same symptom. My eustacian tube was scarred by the virus that caused the whole dizziness problem and I have a variety of middle ear symptoms too but that isnt the BPPV. I hope im not confusing you too much! The best way to get a diagnosis is to find a good specialist (i.e neuro-otologist/ ENT depending on where you live in the world) What is your dizziness like? Do you have any other symptoms?
