Hi Everyone! Well its been 4 months since my fusion of C6-7,and hopefully I am not talking to soon, but I feel better then ever lately! :D Still some sore muscles here and there, but otherwise its been fantastic ,to all the newbies (in the sense of surgery) take heart, be patient , and most of all, Do not over do!!! Take it easy, remember ,what ever project ya need to do, will be there later, let it wait. :D I hope all of you have a great Holiday! :D Diana

Solar,

This is great news! :bouncing:

I'm so glad to hear you are making good progress...seems like a long time since we first talked about taking it slow and letting your body heal...doesn't it?

I have been dealing with some pretty strong muscle spasms the past couple of weeks. I cleaned out my work shop in the basement, and that was the most physical work I had done for a while...now I'm paying for it! And I was the one who told others to take it slow.

I go back for my 6 month check-up on the 3rd of January. I suspect they will get me into PT, as my neck strength still is not up to par. Your neck really gets weak after 14 weeks in that collar.

Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Dennis

Thanx Dennis and Kelly  I can see how ya might have over done it,its easy, cuz when you first start out, its seems like no big deal, but oh boy,it sure rears its ugly head later :o its a shame we all did'nt get a warning light installed during our surgeries! a stop, drop, and go lay down, light! :bouncing:But your oh so right Dennis,it seems like time just zipped by since you cautioned me about the laundry, and those collars sure do have a way of making a neck weak!I still put mine on for an hour or so at the end of a long day.Kelly, I hope your tests coming up, gives you an idea of whats going on,so it can be corrected, nothing worse then pain, without knowing why.I will say a prayer for you, which I do for all of us,every little bit helps. :) Lets all hope 2005,brings good health, and good roads to recovery :bouncing: Diana
