Ok I am concerned because I have been battling staph infections (Boils) for a year. My dad caught it from the hospital and spread it to our family. I had recurrences while I was pregnant and after I gave birth my son has had a couple of red pimple like bumps that look the same as what I had. He is on his third right now. They always occur in the diaper area no where else. They just look like mosquito bites and are firm when pressed on. Eventually they come to a head and a nurse popped the first one he ever got and the last one went away on its own. Now he has another one. The last time he had one I brought the whole story up to his pediatrician but he wasn't concerned. He said it was just an ingrown hair and I should leave it alone. He doesn't think he caught the staph. I am not so sure though... Have any of your kids had this problem?

I would get a second opinion. Many years ago I heard that boils or the infection is in the bloodstream and will pop out now and then. Something about purifying the blood. Ask a good physician about this.
