I was wondering if there was a way to do this without surgery. I'm tired of shaving every day/two days and I cannot forsee any time in my life that I will ever want hair below my eyebrows except in one obvious spot.

I especialy want to get rid of chin hair. Thanks. :)

Electrolysis and laser hair removal will get rid of the hair permanently. Neither of these methods are considered surgery. They are classified as cosmetic treatments.

Can you do those in your own home or do you need someone else to do it? Because I'm looking for a way that doesn't require me to get some sort of doctor. :P

Electrolysis and laser hair removal require a well trained technician. An electrologist is not a doctor. And very few doctors actually do laser treatments, they have a staff to do it. There are also electrologist who do laser.

So I guess that's a 'no' on 'Is there anything I can do to get rid of hair for long periods of time.. in my own home'?
