Well, today I decided (I think :D ) to apply for a full-time, six month contract (teacher's aid - grade 2) and I'm SCARED TO DEATH. I pray to GOD that I can make it through. I hope I'm making the right decision.

Mica,
I was terrified also to start my new job last year but after a couple of weeks I settled in and it actually helped take my mind off of being unbalanced. I've been there a year now. You will do just fine.

all the best,
Kathy :D

Hi, go for it!! I think keeping busy is a tonic to the dizzies and a busy mind just as Kathy said is just the ticket.

Good Luck!! wishing you all the very best!

Good luck! It'll be a distraction, and it may even kick-start your compensation. Enjoy :)

:bouncing: go for it, that is great!!! You'll be fine. And if not you know how to deal, you've been dealing with it long enough.

When do you start? Keep us informed!

Good on ya Mica....you'll be fine. And once you get through a few days of it and realise, I'm OK, you'll just get better and better as your confidence grows. This happened to me at the university. At first I was terrified to even present to my group....I did it and it gave me a massive boost.

Best...Scott

Thank you guys for your words of encouragement. They mean so much to me. I don't know what I would have done without all of you.

The interviews will be sometime after the Xmas holidays. I'll keep you posted.
