I have been contemplating custom lasik following lasik 6 years ago to try to eliminate night halos. My opthamologist informed I would be a good candidate with plenty of thickness in my corneas. I was wondering if anyone else has done this?

Scott, I have been all over the net looking into the entire procedure. There is one girl who has her entire story out there. www.mylasiksurgery.com
I think what she talks about is different. From what I have read, the Custom Lasik is really good. I have not had my procedure, I have an appointment tonight to see if I am a candidate. Anyway, if the doctor you saw for the first Lasik is telling you that you are a good candidate for the Custom Lasik...I would listen. If you haven't already, type in Custom Cornea Lasik Surgery into your browser or search engine and just read away. There are so many sites for you to chose from. They have all been very comforting. The Kimster (a poster on this board) had Custom Cornea Lasik done recently and had good things to say about it. I don't believe that she got it to correct the halos but, she is happy nonetheless.

My pleasure Scott! I hope it helps you! I found the internet very comforting and educating as I made my decision to get my procedure done.
