I have GERD and was diagnosed with it after my thyroid surgery...I also have what feels like my heart skipping a beat..I had the 24hr monitor..and it was normal..ekg were normal..a friend said that GERD can cause the feelings like that..has anyone else had this problem?..it's not all the time and there is no pain..it just scares me somewhat....any info would be helpful..thanks
