I have been seeing a chiropractor weekly for about 8 months now and he does manipulations to my back and neck. What I do notice now is that my neck makes a crackling and sometimes popping noise. But there is no pain. My doctor told me when the joints pop its caused by hypermobility. He told me to stop getting my neck manipulated because it only stretches the already stretched ligaments even more. I am kind of confused what to do. On one hand my jaw feels better everytime I go, on the other hand I don't know if in the long run if by having the weekly manipulations will do more harm than good. What do you all think about this?
