My Dr said I need to have the bed raised at least 6 to 8 inches do to my acid reflux, meds still are not doing the trick yet and with barrett's I'm getting scared. the cells have not changed and I want to keep it that way. How do you raise the head of your bed without interfering with your hubbys side of the bed? Are there lifts or should we just get one of those beds that have controls wher I can raise my side and his not be bothered? My reflux is worse in the morning I sound like a frog and feel like someone pured hot sand down my throat, once I've been up for an hour or 2 it calms but not completely go away. I just started nexium, it is the last one to try before I may need surgery. Should I take the nexuim at nightime because it is worse at night or should I take it mornings? I'm at wits end and what is worse is I have silent acid reflux and use to think that the occasional heartburn(maybe 3 times a year)was ok but inbetween I was still haveing reflux without symptoms.

Try a wedge pillow. They cost about $20 and they work.
