I have been suffering from dizziness for some time now and went to have a head MRI. The ENT says the MRI was clear - would they have checked it all, so giving my entire brain the all clear?

One test the ENT ordered was an MRI of my head to make sure I didn't have and acoustic neuroma. It's basically a small tumor that grows in the ear canal and can put pressure on the nerves or inner ear, causing dizziness. That's what your doc probably ment by being negative so congragulations. Your doc should have told you what they were looking for and I would call them to confirm. carolfer 01-11-2005, 09:53 AM hi i had a brain scan and it showned a diteriation in the nerves which is why my memory is so bad ect. i have got to go to my GP next wednesday because i need answers has anyone else had the same thing happen to them please answer. carolfer |
