hi!:D well, i dont know much about this particular topic, but for the last four days i have been feeling um, like im living in a dream? lol i know this happens when you get dehydrated but im not. also, im having trouble focusing, and this is draining away my strength, and messing up my depth perception:/. anyway, i was reading up on "vertigo" and the first definition that came up was confusion...
do you think that maybe i could have a very acute meneires desease?

Hi surviva,
You described your dizziness has being in a dream (feeling detached), these are not the symptoms of Menieres. Meniere sufferers have attacks of intense virtigo, meaning that the environment is spinning. Go to the first item on this board called "Information Archive". This will give you more information on the types and causes of dizziness.

No what you describe does not sound like menieres at all. You would not know what had hit you if you had menieres, you would have true spinning vertigo and would be unable to stand during an attack.
You COULD have labyrinthitis but normally you would have dizziness as well as the dream state you describe...to be honest your symptoms could be anything and not particularly inner ear - they could be the start of the flu, low iron levels - perhaps just a briefl virus. See your GP.
