View Full Version : Yet another question for Kamden!

Hello!!

Actually this is for Kamden or anyone else who may have experienced this.

Sometimes when I am lying on my back (like at bedtime), I get this strange jolt or a rush from the base of my skull through my brain. I actually see a white light. It's like time stops for a brief second and when I come back I feel a very odd, inexplicible change in reality. Then I'm ok again. Bizarre!

Kamden, do you think this has to do with the bloodflow to my brain? I can't see a doctor until Jan.1 because we recently relocated and my husband's new insurance has a waiting period for pre-existing conditions. So, I'm just trying to get as much info as possible.

Thank You!!
nate

Hi Nate, I have been wondering how you have been. I cannot remember all my symptoms when I had this problem ( there were SO many ), and I don't recognize this one, but that doesn't really mean anything either. I forgot to tell you that I deveoped sleep apnea after my car accident also. It was horrible, and I had never had it before in my life. When all my symptoms were taken care of, the sleep apnea disappeared. But it was very frightening at the time, I was waking up gasping for air at night, and I didn't understand what was going on. My most memorable symptom was feeling like I was in a dream state most of the time, and not being able to understand or remember things. It is too bad you have to wait so long to go to the doctor. When you do go, I hope you find it is something simple like mine was. Good luck and keep me posted!
