Hi, I'm doing a bit of research for my aunty. She has an almost confirmed diagnosis of motor neurone disease butis also showing symptoms of CIDP. Therefore, the doctors arent' entirely sure what she has. She's been put on gammaglobulin therapy and that didn't work and now she is now on a steroid called Prednisone. She started yesterday and woke up today feeling a lot weaker than usual. Could this be due to the Prednisone? It doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere as a side effect of Prednisone so if anyone has something helpful, that would be great.
