Hello, I have tons of questions. Was wondering if anyone can help me on this.
My sister is 29 years old. She has ton's of problems. About 6 months ago she had a seizure, had tons of blood work and nothing with that. Then she had another one about a month ago. She has a ct scan and when to a nero dr. the CT scan was okay, but the nero dr. did a ekg or something like that to look at the brain waves, he also did the light thins in her eyes and reacted very strong to is. He determined that she has Irritable Brain Syndrome.
Now I am gonna give you a run down of some history on her.
She is on a schizophrenia medication (antipsychotic medication)not to sure the name of the med dr's determined she is also schizo
She is on Zoloft (antidepressant)
She has been on both of the above mentioned med for about 4 to 5 years now.
She is realy MESSED up!!
Did the meds that she is taking cause this Irritable Brain Syndrome that she now has today?
She has now started another medication with the 2 to control the seizures now.
I am SO scared for her. She has memory loss and can not live a normal life with her 10 year old son.
I have never heard of Irritable Brain Syndrome and there is no info in the internet regarding this.
Please help me.
